  • Direct I/O, version 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4

SUMMARY

Despite correct entries in the fields "Name", "Company" and "Key" the shareware reminder appears each time a application is started.

MORE INFORMATION

Direct I/O relies on the crypto API built into Windows NT. This API consists of a number of system DLLs which changed with almost every Windows NT service pack. There may be the case where during installation of new software some of them have been overwritten by older versions. Microsoft recommends to reapply the latest Windows NT service pack after every installation.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, reapply your current Windows NT service pack.
